Peter Morton, President and Founder of Hard Rock Hotels & Casino, today announced plans to build a $1 billion, 1.5 million square foot hotel/condominium project on 24 acres adjacent to Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotels & Casino.
Combined with the current Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the two buildings will have a total area of 41 acres. Mr. Morton recently acquired the 24-acre site for $86 million.
"This new project will be unlike anything we've ever seen in Las Vegas," he said. "It is being designed by Richard Meyer and Michael Palladino, the world-famous architects of the Richard Meyer company. The project will have an elegant and unique finish, both inside and outside.
"We used this project in combination and designed it with owner-planned developments," Mr. Morton continued. "The current plan calls for the project to consist of four buildings and at least 1,500 hotel condominiums. The project will include a unique restaurant and nightclub, a number of global retailers, a state-of-the-art health club and spa, and a variety of other recreational facilities."
Mr. Morton said he is meeting restaurant owners and retailers all over the world for the project. The project will include interesting and innovative features, such as the creation of Hard Rock, one of Las Vegas' most popular destinations.
"Over the years, guests have approached me and told me how much they enjoy the hard rock experience," he said. "What we are doing here is giving people the opportunity to own a small hard rock. Owners of the new hotel/condominium will have VIP tickets to all of the hard rock facilities perfectly. They will have the opportunity to not only buy a hard rock experience, but also own a part of it.
"When the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino opened nine years ago, I realized that 20 and 30 years old were not yet available in Las Vegas," Ms. Morton said. "By tailoring to the market, we were able to attract people of all ages who were looking for the same kind of excitement and experience as well as this important demographic.
"Hard Rock is already known for its famous restaurants like Nobu and popular performances like The Velvet Revolver, The Rolling Stones, and Nora Jones," he said. "Our new project will give our customers more."
Mr. Morton said he plans to vary the size of the condominium from one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments to a 6,000-square-foot penthouse. He said he also plans a full-side bungalow and villa. 슬롯사이트 순위

The construction of Hard Rock's hotel/condominium project is scheduled to begin next year. The first phase of development will be completed about a year after the start of construction.
